The Critical Facilities Manager will responsible for leading day-to-day operations, maintenance, and service delivery within a critical data center environment, ensuring reliability, safety, and compliance with service level agreements. This role oversees technical teams, client relationships, infrastructure support activities, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Job Description

  • Lead and manage data center operations teams, including workforce planning, performance management, coaching, and employee development.
  • Coordinate daily operational activities, assign tasks, monitor work schedules, and ensure timely completion of maintenance and service requests.
  • Manage client relationships and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure all contractual and service level requirements are achieved.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance, work orders, repairs, and infrastructure upgrades to maintain optimal facility performance.
  • Ensure installation, relocation, and decommissioning of IT and facility infrastructure equipment are completed according to established standards and timelines.
  • Monitor compliance with operational procedures, documentation requirements, risk assessments, and industry best practices.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues while minimizing disruption to data center services.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reliability, and service quality.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Facilities Management, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data center operations, critical facilities, engineering services, or a related technical environment.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, develop, and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, maintenance programs, operational procedures, and service level management.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
