Job Description

  • Handle product cost calculations, including raw materials, labor, and overhead allocation
  • Review and investigate cost fluctuations, including production efficiency and waste
  • Support financial closing activities related to plant costing and reporting
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis for plant operations
  • Track inventory valuation and maintain accuracy in financial records
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies

The Successful Applicant

A successful Cost Accountant Assistant Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 3-7 years of experience in costing or financial analysis within manufacturing
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, especially SAP, with exposure to implementation or go-live
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Good command of English for reporting and communication with expatriates
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, especially operations
