Job Description

  • Own the growth strategy and shape the commercial roadmap for a leading retail business.
  • Turn complex data into smart decisions, driving sales, margin, and profitability improvement.
  • Lead high-impact transformation projects from strategy through execution and results delivery.
  • Partner with senior leaders across commercial, finance, operations, and merchandising teams.
  • Deliver board-level insights and business cases that influence major investment and growth decisions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Commercial Retail Strategy & Planning should have:

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial strategy, strategic planning, transformation, consulting, or related leadership roles.
  • Strong expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, investment evaluation, and business case development.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex business challenges.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional initiatives.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI, and data-driven decision making.
  • Experience in Retail, FMCG, Consulting, FinTech, or other high-growth environments is highly preferred.
