We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced liquid cold plate solutions for thermal management applications. The successful candidate will drive product innovation, support new product introduction (NPI), and collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver high-performance, manufacturable designs.

Job Description

  • Lead the mechanical design and development of liquid cold plate products, from concept through production.
  • Perform 2D/3D CAD design, modeling, and engineering documentation using tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
  • Conduct thermal and flow simulations using CFD tools (e.g., Flotherm, Flotherm XT) to optimize product performance.
  • Develop and manage Bills of Materials (BOM), engineering specifications, and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
  • Drive product validation through prototyping, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Collaborate with suppliers on material selection, component development, and manufacturing process optimization, including brazing, welding, and cleaning processes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams during NPI, qualification, and failure analysis activities to ensure successful product launches.
  • Track project milestones, manage technical risks, and implement engineering changes to meet quality, cost, and delivery objectives.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with significant experience in mechanical product design and development.
  • Strong expertise in liquid cold plate design, thermal management, and CFD analysis using tools such as Flotherm or Flotherm XT.
  • Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software, including AutoCAD, Creo, and SolidWorks.
  • Hands-on experience in prototype assembly, measurement, tolerance analysis, troubleshooting, and process development using DOE methodologies.
  • Good communication in English and open expat who can speak Chinese.
  • Experience leading complete NPI programs for liquid cold plate products within the last 3-5 years is highly advantageous.
