Job Description

Strategic Leadership & Plant Management

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for all plant operations, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and business goals.
  • Develop and execute long-term operational strategies to support sustainable growth and improve competitive positioning.
  • Contribute to annual budgeting processes, production strategy development, and KPI setting at the organisational level.
  • Translate complex business objectives into clear, actionable plans for all levels of the organisation.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing leadership team, fostering a strong culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with Planning and Scheduling teams on capacity planning, production levelling, and prioritisation for international customer orders.



Production & Technical Oversight

  • Oversee all shop-floor operations, ensuring 24/7 operational efficiency and high-quality output at optimal cost levels.
  • Ensure all manufacturing processes, SOPs, and work standards are well defined, implemented, and strictly adhered to.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Production, Engineering, and Quality to ensure seamless operations.
  • Prioritise and oversee critical activities including New Product Introduction (NPI), process optimisation, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Ensure efficient utilisation of equipment, workforce, and production capacity.



Performance & Quality Management

  • Drive plant performance against key operational metrics including productivity, yield, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Establish robust performance monitoring systems and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  • Work closely with Product Quality, Engineering, and Process Excellence teams to resolve complex technical and quality issues.
  • Serve as the final authority ("gatekeeper") for commissioning, validation, and handover of new equipment and technology.
  • Foster a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement across all levels of the organisation.



Financial & System Optimisation

  • Partner with Finance Business Controller to optimise cost structures, improve margins, and manage working capital effectively.
  • Ensure disciplined management of plant budgets (CAPEX & OPEX), delivering operations within approved financial frameworks.
  • Drive cost optimisation initiatives across production, procurement, and operational processes.
  • Ensure ERP systems and digital tools effectively support business operations, with strong data integrity and system reliability.
  • Promote best practice sharing and implement continuous learning across functions to enhance operational performance.



Compliance, Safety & Governance

  • Ensure full compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and international quality and safety standards.
  • Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring a zero-harm work environment across all plant activities.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards and corporate governance frameworks.
  • Maintain the highest standards of ethical manufacturing and operational integrity.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role managing 300+ employees
  • Proven experience in developing and executing strategic productivity roadmaps and large-scale operational plans
  • Strong track record in leading transformation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing operations, Lean principles, and process optimisation
  • Experience in handling complex, high-volume or high-precision manufacturing environments
  • Financial Acumen: Strong capability in budgeting, cost control, and financial performance management
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Exceptional command of Thai and English (written and spoken)
