Job Description

  • Develop and implement the company's overall technology strategy to align with business goals.
  • Lead and manage the technology department to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Oversee the development and deployment of new technology solutions to enhance business processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the company's IT systems and data.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and integrate relevant advancements into the organisation.
  • Manage budgets and resources related to technology projects and initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external technology partners and vendors.
  • Drive process improvements using Lean, Kaizen, ISO, and Six Sigma methods.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of IT should have:

  • Proven leadership experience in technology within the property industry or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, software development, and technological innovation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make strategic decisions.
  • Experience managing technology teams and overseeing large-scale projects.
  • Knowledge of data security and risk management practices.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
  • A relevant degree or equivalent professional qualifications in technology, engineering, or a related field
