Job Description

  • Oversee statutory and management accounting in compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies
  • Lead monthly, semester, and year‑end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain full ownership of general ledger, AP, AR, tax, and intercompany accounting activities
  • Ensure integrity of balance sheets through regular reviews, risk identification, and corrective actions
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors on accounting reviews, controls, and documentation
  • Provide reliable financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities
  • Manage and develop accounting teams within the Shared Services Center, fostering engagement and high performance
  • Monitor service delivery using KPIs, SLAs, and productivity metrics
  • Drive process standardization, efficiency improvements, and best‑practice implementation
  • Identify and manage tax and compliance risks in collaboration with Tax, Legal, and Treasury teams
  • Partner closely with controlling and business finance teams on monthly reporting and analysis
  • Support legal entity changes, restructurings, or integration projects within the SSC scope
  • Contribute to talent development through hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPD holder, CPA is a plus
  • 10+ years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial reporting, including people management
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, tax principles, and internal controls
  • Experience in a Shared Services Center will be a plus or multinational environment
  • Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong analytical skills
