Job Description

  • Partner with the CEO and Board to define and execute financial strategy aligned with long-term business goals
  • Lead capital allocation, investment evaluation, and strategic initiatives including M&A and partnerships
  • Identify funding opportunities and optimize capital structure to support business expansion
  • Oversee all finance and accounting operations, including reporting, consolidation, and daily financial activities
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports in line with regulatory standards
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes with high standards of accuracy and compliance
  • Develop financial dashboards and insights to support data-driven decision-making
  • Manage treasury, cash flow, and liquidity to ensure financial stability and operational continuity
  • Lead banking relationships, financing activities, and cost of funding optimization
  • Establish strong internal controls, governance frameworks, and risk management practices
  • Oversee audit processes and ensure timely resolution of audit findings
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, reporting standards, and legal requirements across jurisdictions
  • Monitor regulatory changes and provide guidance on financial and compliance implications
  • Build and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering continuous improvement and capability building

The Successful Applicant

A successful Chief Financial Officer (CFO) should have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics
  • Professional certification such as CPA is required; additional qualifications (e.g., CFA, ACCA, CMA) are advantageous
  • 10-15+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership at Controller, VP Finance, or CFO level
  • Strong experience managing full finance operations in complex or multi-entity environments
  • Exposure to listed companies and regulatory requirements is highly preferred
  • Industry background in manufacturing or heavy industry is advantageous
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting standards and tax regulations
  • Proven leadership and team development experience
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
  • High integrity, accountability, and results-driven mindset
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and financial tools
  • Strong command of English for executive-level communication
