Job Description

  • Lead and execute procurement strategies across direct and indirect spend categories to achieve cost, quality, and supplier performance objectives.
  • Drive sourcing, contract negotiations, and savings initiatives while improving working capital through cash flow optimization programs.
  • Champion procurement excellence by enhancing processes, implementing digital tools, and increasing automation and compliance.
  • Partner closely with Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, Finance, Commercial, and business leadership teams to align procurement priorities with organizational goals.
  • Manage supplier relationships, strengthen supplier performance, mitigate supply risks, and ensure business continuity.
  • Lead, coach, and develop procurement talent while fostering a high-performance and continuous improvement culture.
  • Drive change, challenge existing practices, introduce innovative sourcing solutions, and provide governance across the overall procurement agenda in Thailand.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is advantageous.
  • Minimum 6 years of procurement experience, including at least 2 years in a people management or leadership role.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across functions.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment; chemical industry experience is a plus.
