Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow sales within the automotive aftermarket by developing existing customers and acquiring new accounts across dealers, distributors, and workshops.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in the aftermarket ecosystem to drive customer loyalty and long-term partnerships.
  • Drive and deliver sales targets through proactive account management, territory planning, and consistent customer engagement.
  • Conduct regular market visits, provide technical and commercial support, and negotiate pricing and promotional activities.
  • Identify and develop market opportunities by analyzing vehicle parc data, customer demand, and competitor activity in the aftermarket space.
  • Promote and expand aftermarket product lines, improving product penetration and optimizing the product mix for customers.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, prepare forecasts, and recommend actions to improve results and market share.
  • Maintain and update customer and sales data in CRM systems, ensuring accurate reporting and effective pipeline management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Account Manager should have

  • Proven ability to drive sales results with a strong track record in B2B, ideally within the automotive aftermarket industry.
  • Strong relationship management skills with experience engaging distributors, dealers, workshops, and fleet customers.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to influence customers and close commercial agreements effectively.
  • Solid commercial and analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends, customer needs, and sales data.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven approach with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Good understanding of aftermarket products such as parts, lubricants, batteries, or tires is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools to manage pipelines, reporting, and performance tracking.
  • Willingness to travel and engage in field-based sales activities with a valid driving license.
