Job Description

  • Develop and drive annual occupational health and safety (OHS) plans, focusing on workplace safety, accident prevention, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and manuals aligned with legal and internal standards.
  • Oversee all safety documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and deliver safety training programs across multiple factory sites within the organization.
  • Evaluate, select, and monitor safety equipment, tools, and performance standards to ensure effectiveness.
  • Promote safety awareness through campaigns, communication initiatives, and improvement projects.
  • Monitor workplace conditions and proactively implement initiatives to enhance safety culture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety integration into operations and projects.
  • Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews, ensuring readiness at all times.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by management in support of organizational safety objectives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
  • Certified Professional Safety Officer (Professional Level) is required.
  • 5-10 years of experience in occupational health and safety roles.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in industrial environments such as chemical, food manufacturing, or construction is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations, compliance frameworks, and risk management.
  • Ability to develop and implement safety programs and training effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational skills.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to drive safety culture and improvements.
  • Open to travel for plant-visit activities as required.
