Job Description

  • Establish and drive a long-term data roadmap that supports evolving business priorities and digital product growth
  • Build and lead a multidisciplinary data function spanning data engineering, analytics, and advanced modeling, with a focus on scalability and performance
  • Act as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders, embedding data into core decision-making processes across commercial and product domains
  • Architect and oversee a unified data environment, covering ingestion pipelines, transformation layers, storage, and governance practices
  • Ensure strong operational standards across data systems, including availability, integrity, and security controls
  • Introduce intelligent automation and monitoring capabilities to streamline operations and enhance system resilience
  • Expand organization-wide access to data through governed self-service tools, frameworks, and best practices
  • Own enterprise data governance, ensuring alignment with regional privacy laws and internal risk and compliance frameworks
  • Promote responsible data usage, balancing innovation with regulatory and ethical considerations
  • Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to improve data capabilities and business outcomes

The Successful Applicant

A successful Director of Data and AI should have:

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in data-focused roles, with a proven track record in senior leadership positions
  • Strong background in designing and scaling data platforms in complex, high-traffic environments (preferably from data engineer, data scientist or machine learning engineer)
  • Deep expertise in data architecture, distributed systems, and cloud ecosystems (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Hands-on exposure to AIOps, AI technology
  • Solid understanding of data governance, AI governance, risk management, and compliance requirements in regulated environments
  • Experience with contemporary data tooling across orchestration, streaming, transformation, and visualization layers
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Passionate about enabling organizations through data democratization and actionable insights
  • Fluent communication skills in both Thai and English
