Job Description

  • Supervise daily accounting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial records
  • Monitor and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring issues are promptly addressed
  • Provide financial data and insights for internal reporting and statutory requirements
  • Coordinate audit activities and ensure all requests are handled efficiently
  • Take ownership of monthly and annual closing cycles, ensuring deadlines are achieved
  • Maintain data integrity through proper control of financial transactions
  • Ensure adherence to internal control frameworks, including compliance requirements
  • Analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions
  • Establish and track performance metrics, service quality, and operational effectiveness
  • Identify potential financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation controls
  • Lead, mentor, and support team members to drive performance and engagement
  • Collaborate with regional and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Champion continuous improvement, including automation and digital initiatives
  • Participate in regional projects and support strategic finance initiatives

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accounting Team Lead should have:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Solid experience in general ledger accounting and financial closing processes
  • Strong understanding of governance, risk control, and audit practices
  • Familiarity with international accounting standards and internal policies
  • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP and reporting tools like BPC
  • Fluent communication skills in both Thai and English
