Job Description

  • Manage daily operations of internal and third-party fleets for efficient dry and cold chain distribution to multiple store locations.
  • Plan and optimize delivery routes to minimize costs, travel time, and improve service reliability.
  • Oversee maintenance schedules and fleet upkeep to ensure vehicle safety and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and control transportation expenses, analyzing performance data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with checkers, transport groups, and officers to coordinate loading, unloading, and address operational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards for fleet operations, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external fleet vendors for flexible and reliable service support.
  • Track and report key performance metrics, generating insights and improvement recommendations for management.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation management, preferably in multi-site distribution for QSR, retail, or similar industries.
  • Proven experience in managing both internal and third-party fleets, with specific knowledge of cold chain and dry chain logistics.
  • Strong understanding of fleet maintenance practices and route planning software.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with fleet management or logistics software is preferred.
