We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead tax, BOI, and customs operations for a major manufacturing entity in Thailand. This strategic role combines compliance leadership, stakeholder engagement, and process excellence to support business growth and operational agility.

Our client is a global leader in premium consumer goods manufacturing, with a significant footprint in Thailand.

Job Description

  • Lead strategic and tactical decisions for the finance function aligned with global and local goals.
  • Act as a proactive business partner across functions to support decision-making.
  • Oversee financial procedures and controls to enable agile manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor financial performance and drive improvements without compromising product quality.
  • Ensure full compliance with BOI, tax, and customs regulations.
  • Manage a team responsible for VAT, income tax, withholding tax, and customs compliance.
  • Provide expert advice on BOI, tax, and customs matters for business initiatives.
  • Lead audits, investigations, and reviews in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support global tax processes including transfer pricing and effective tax rate forecasting.
  • Prepare tax payment forecasts and ensure timely submissions.
  • Manage relationships with government authorities (BOI, Tax, Customs).
  • Collaborate closely with the Group Tax Team for policy alignment and execution.
  • Drive process improvements and internal control enhancements.
  • Track and report on risk mitigation, issue resolution, and audit timelines.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in tax, BOI, and/or customs, either in-house or as an advisor.
  • Deep knowledge of Thai regulatory requirements and experience in multinational environments.
  • Proven leadership in managing teams and complex projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and ability to build relationships with stakeholders and authorities.
