This position will be responsible for material requirements planing to ensure timely procurement of raw and packaging materials based on production schedules and demand forecasts. This role will work closely with production, procurement, and supply chain teams to mitigate material shortages, optimize inventory levels, and drive process improvements.

About Our Client

Our client is a global FMCG company. The working location is in Samut Prakarn area with 1 day hybrid working provided.

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain supply plans to support demand forecasts while optimizing inventory levels.
  • Work closely with production teams to align supply planning with manufacturing schedules and capacity constraints.
  • Oversee Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes to ensure efficient material availability for production.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
  • Monitor key supply chain metrics, including inventory turnover, service levels, and lead times, and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
  • Analyze historical data and trends to improve forecast accuracy and supply planning efficiency.
  • Lead initiatives for process improvement and supply chain optimization.
  • Utilize supply planning tools and ERP systems, particularly SAP, to generate reports and insights for decision-making.
  • Support new product launches and transitions by ensuring proper supply planning and coordination.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in material requirement planning, production/supply planning, or similar roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and forecasting techniques.
  • Proficiency in supply chain planning software and ERP systems, particularly SAP.
  • Experience in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent English and Thai communication with ability to work with overseas stakeholders.
