Job Description

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring seamless integration across purchasing, demand and supply planning, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Purchasing Management: Oversee the procurement process to ensure timely acquisition of high-quality raw materials and goods at optimal costs. Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts.
  • Demand and Supply Planning: Lead demand forecasting and supply planning activities to balance customer demand with production capabilities, ensuring minimal stockouts and overstock situations.
  • Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels across global markets to optimize stock levels, reduce holding costs, and mitigate risks associated with excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Logistics and Distribution: Direct global logistics operations, including warehousing, distribution, and transportation. Ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of products to customers while maintaining high service levels.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the FMCG sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
  • Proven experience managing supply chain operations on a global scale, with a deep understanding of international logistics, trade regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced knowledge of data analytics tools to drive efficiencies and improvements.
