Job Description

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including JV, investment, development, property, hotel management, and EPC/UDA contracts.
  • Provide strategic legal advice across corporate and commercial matters, with emphasis on construction contracts and FIDIC procedures.
  • Translate evolving regulatory requirements into actionable guidance for business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with business units to ensure legal alignment and support operational decisions.
  • Oversee litigation and dispute resolution in coordination with external counsel.
  • Act as an internal advisor for risk assessment across development, investment, and contracting activities.
  • Support corporate transactions, reviews, and documentation related to real estate and construction initiatives.
  • Ensure all agreements meet compliance, governance, and quality standards.
  • Develop and refine internal legal processes, policies, and templates.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on key legal topics.
  • Mentor junior legal team members and promote a collaborative, learning‑oriented culture.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships on legal matters.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and alignment on project‑related legal risks.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Legal Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LL.B/LL.M) with a valid license.
  • At least 10 years of legal experience within a law firm or real estate environment, ideally with international exposure.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven analytical thinking and ability to provide precise, business‑oriented legal opinions.
  • In‑depth knowledge of construction, real estate, and commercial laws, with fluency in written and spoken English.
