Job Description

1. Provide expert legal advice and guidance on insurance-related matters to senior management and various departments.
2. Conduct thorough reviews and analysis of insurance contracts, policies, and regulatory requirements to mitigate legal risks.
3. Develop and implement compliance programs to ensure adherence to insurance laws and regulations.
4. Monitor changes in insurance legislation and regulations to proactively update policies and procedures.
5. Collaborate with external legal counsel, regulators, and industry stakeholders to address legal issues and ensure compliance.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on insurance law and regulatory compliance.
  • Expertise in interpreting and applying complex insurance regulations and directives.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance intermediaries, distribution channels, and market dynamics.
  • Proven track record of handling insurance-related legal matters and providing strategic counsel to insurance businesses.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
