Job Description

  • Developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans
  • Managing relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts
  • Evaluating supplier performance and ensuring compliance with company standards
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing procurement initiatives
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure procurement activities align with company goals
  • Managing and resolving any supply chain issues that arise
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends and changes in the market

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Buyer should have:

  • A degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in procurement within the industrial/manufacturing sector
  • Excellent negotiation skills and commercial awareness
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Good knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management
