About Our Client

Our client is a global leader in the industrial manufacturing sector. With a presence in America, Europe, and Asia Pacific, the regional team is looking for a legal professional to oversee SEA and Oceania markets.

Job Description

  • Provide end-to-end legal support, including contract drafting and reviewing, advising on regulatory frameworks, dispute resolution, and assisting with commercial plan developments from a legal perspective.
  • Offer comprehensive legal advice on inquiries related to employment activities, such as employee contracts, workplace policies, and compliance with local labor laws, as well as broader business matters affecting operations in the region.
  • Liaise with external counsels across different markets to ensure that all legal strategies align with local regulations and practices, facilitating effective communication and collaboration on cross-border legal issues.
  • Manage litigation matters by developing litigation strategies and overseeing litigation processes while utilizing external counsel support to effectively navigate disputes.
  • Oversee special projects such as joint ventures and mergers & acquisitions to ensure that all legal considerations are addressed during integration and post-acquisition activities.
  • Conduct compliance training sessions in accordance with global business conduct standards to educate employees on legal obligations, ethical practices, and risk management strategies that align with the organization's values.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 8 years of post-qualified experience (PQE), preferably from industrial manufacturing space or B2B organizations.
  • Strong regional exposure will be highly considered.
  • Excellent command of English and Thai, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities effectively and efficiently.
