Job Description

  • Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement a sales strategy aligned with company objectives. Identify and expand into new markets, set measurable sales targets, and ensure consistent achievement. Analyze industry trends, customer behavior, and the competitive landscape to inform decisions. Continuously improve sales processes by identifying inefficiencies and applying solutions.
  • Team Leadership and Performance Oversight: Lead, manage, and inspire Sales Managers and Executives to deliver exceptional performance. Ensure accountability at all stages of the sales cycle-from lead generation to deal closure. Conduct regular evaluations, provide coaching and mentorship, and foster a culture focused on results and accountability.
  • Business Development and Customer Relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Actively pursue new business opportunities and explore emerging markets. Ensure the sales team delivers high levels of customer service to promote satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as marketing, operations, and finance to align strategies and drive shared goals. Communicate market insights, customer needs, and sales challenges to relevant teams for continuous improvement.
  • Internal Control and Process Management: Maintain compliance with internal policies and sales-related controls. Regularly review operations to identify inefficiencies or risks and introduce process enhancements that increase accuracy and effectiveness in reporting and execution.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Proactively identify and mitigate risks within sales procedures. Ensure all activities comply with legal, regulatory, and internal company standards to maintain integrity and operational stability.
  • Performance Reporting and Forecasting: Oversee accurate and timely reporting of sales performance, pipeline forecasts, and business outcomes. Use data-driven insights to inform planning, track team progress, and adjust strategies as needed to meet company objectives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Academic Background: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related discipline is required (an MBA is preferred).
  • Proven Leadership: Substantial experience in a senior sales role, particularly in managing processes and overseeing teams.
