Job Description

  • Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and company
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
  • Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
  • Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
  • Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
  • Closely working with QA, R&D and other relevant departments dedicated to the same client account to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and all client needs met
  • Collaborating with the sales team to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling
  • Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training

The Successful Applicant

  • Must possess at least Bachelor Degree or Diploma in any relevant field.
  • Possesses 7-10 years of working experience in roles related to Sales/Key Account Manager experience in industrial bakery business promoting and developing products such as Chocolate, Margarine and UHT non-dairy Cream is a must.
  • Possesses 7-10 years of working experience and proven record of accomplishment within sales team in the Food Industry, preferably in Bakery Business.
  • Capacity to develop the business of the Industry channel independently opening new industrial accounts with dynamicity, problem solving and passion.
  • Tenacity and strategic mind-set to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to communicate and present effectively with good commands in English.
  • Experienced in driving cross-functional team in strategic and high value new business pursuits.
  • Willing to travel within assigned territory.
