Lead & enable sustained profitable growth through developing & executing a clear marketing strategy for our client's flagship brand including creating differentiated platforms, and developing programs and in-market execution with focus on 4Ps of marketing. You will manage a large team located across multiple markets.

Job Description

Drive the tailoring and execution of platforms and initiate and lead the development of country specific platforms.

You will work closely internally with Global and Regional Marketing teams, Performance Marketing, Pricing, Segment Heads, Technical and Supply Chain not excluding externally with Large Distributors, Agencies and Consulting Companies.

    • Long-Range Planning: Develop and execute multi-year growth strategy with focus on 4Ps of marketing (product, price, place, and promotion)
    • Annual Marketing Planning: Making sure that the right plans are in place aligned to the business goals and strategy, in a timely fashion while collaborating with the sales teams on the distributor planning as well
    • Brand Building and Positioning: Lead the brand building and development efforts across markets with focus on Key markets (Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Philippines). Develop KPIs to establish correlation of business growth with enhanced brand awareness with a focus on ROI
    • Digital and Media Marketing: Develop Valvoline digital and media capabilities to drive efficient, factual-based advertising budget execution, ultimately boosting brand awareness among target segments, while maximising active and passive USD
    • Trade & Consumer Promotion Programs: Create and execute strong trade & consumer promotion programs to dive the business objectives
    • Create a Differentiated Value Proposition: for the channel partners and customers that enables them to grow and beat the competition
    • Platform Development: Develop and deliver strategy and selling proposition for targeted customer segments including differentiated solutions to boost customer experience.

The Successful Applicant

  • MBA from a reputed Business School is a big advantage
  • 15+ years of experience in Lubricants, FMCG or Auto Ancillary industries
  • 5+ years of experience in managing marketing organisation at a country head level, experience in managing regional team would be a strong plus
  • Experience developing marketing strategies for ASEAN
  • Experience in brand building through ATL / BTL / Digital and marketing communications
  • Strong people management experience
  • Travel up to 50% may be required for this role
