We are looking for Regional Layout Designer to join a global machinery company supplied to food and beverage industry, covering from pre-sale technical support, leading the design team, and project execution. The successful candidate requires excellent command in English, background in layout design using Autocad, and managing the team of Design Engineers.

Job Description

  • Customer Needs & Engineering - Engage with clients, take on-site measurements, and gather input from internal teams to craft engineering layouts aligned with company strategy.
  • Optimizing Efficiency & Equipment Setup - Calculate line dimensions and accumulation to ensure peak performance, while integrating equipment with safety and ergonomic considerations.
  • Cost Estimates & Vendor Coordination - Develop quotations for conveyors, automation, and utilities, while overseeing suppliers during both pre-contracting and execution phases.
  • Project Implementation & Technical Deliverables - Design mechanical and electrical conveyor layouts, generate essential engineering documentation, and handle complete projects for power distribution and wiring.
  • Team Leadership & Development - Manage resource allocation, mentor team members, assess performance, and enhance capabilities while fostering collaboration across business units.
  • Regulatory Standards & Safety Compliance - Maintain alignment with legal, regulatory, and company governance standards while conducting risk assessments and managing certification processes.
  • Continuous Enhancement & Cross-Team Collaboration - Drive innovation through improvement projects, establish a cooperative project environment, and demonstrate leadership in line with corporate values.



The Successful Applicant

  • Knowledge in AutoCAD with background from layout design
  • Team management experience of Engineers with hand-on and coaching approach
  • Industry background from machinery supplied to food and beverage customers
  • Excellent command in English
  • Regional experience is ad advantage
