Regional HR Director for UK MNC based in Bangkok
About Our Client
Our client is an international British company.
To partner with assigned Regional Managers and HR Colleagues to deliver a HR service in line with the needs and priorities of the company whilst overseeing the implementation and delivery of key HR initiatives as the key interface between HR and Store Operations
To effectively execute HR practises, delivering people solutions and interventions aligned to business objectives and needs
To act as an ambassador. Demonstrate, drive and promote adherence to company policy, HR governance, procedure, professional standards and legal obligations
To partner other key stakeholders in the implementation of the strategic HR plan, projects and initiatives. Ensuring initiatives are appropriately communicated, implemented and embedded
Work closely with each assigned Regional Manager to identify local trends and propose process improvements and HR initiatives in line with regional needs
Develop and implement a robust People Plan within each assigned region to drive a culture of high performance, an effective talent pipeline and general people governance whilst ensuring the close and timely delivery of the business objectives and agreed People KPIs
Promote the culture and engagement in store to the companies Brand Promise and Values.
Support, develop and coach people managers to proactively manage employee relations issues using the Company policy, procedures and best practise, ideally resolving issues where possible informally
Review leavers analysis and work towards improving the labour turnover within designated regions by action planning and setting targets. Conduct exit interviews and play an active role in overturning leaver decisions for key roles
Understand and share with relevant key stakeholder's information relating to the local labour market knowledge to ensure we remain competitive
Coach and support managers to take ownership of vacancies, providing guidance on recruitment activity. Promote and ensure managers are recruiting for potential and only those that demonstrate the VE brand behaviours
Be actively involved in ensuring a warm welcome to all new starters to the business by promoting adherence to the agreed on boarding experience
Takes a lead role in building a high-performance culture within assigned regions by promoting adherence to bi-weekly Progress Commitment reviews, coaching and annual Performance Development Reviews. Identifying skills and opportunities for development
Identify talent development needs within designated regions and work with central HR functions to ensure availability of employee development which is aligned to the business objectives
Ensure that change projects are delivered effectively within assigned regions
Drive the engagement agenda within assigned regions, supporting the development and execution of engagement action planning and follow up
As well as supporting behavioural and cultural change, you'll help the business to maximise the capability of our people and identify opportunities to increase engagement.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor or Master Degree
- Minimum 10 years' experience in MNC.
- Proven experience in Asia Pacific
- Experience for developing talents
- Used to work in fast -pace environment
- Experience in transformation and change management
- Willing to travel and work with employee at different levels
