Job Description

  • Work with the Senior Leadership Team and General Manager to meet financial targets for growth, profitability, and cash flow in the region.
  • Supervise the FP&A process for monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial forecasts, as well as the annual budgeting process. Clarify business drivers for relevant comparative metrics, including past forecasts, budgets, and previous periods.
  • Handle all financial accounting tasks, ensuring timely monthly book closings, expense analysis, accurate transaction recording in the correct accounting period, monthly reviews of Balance Sheet Reconciliations, preparation of aging reports, and follow-up actions for Thailand.
  • Guide cross-functional teams in developing, reviewing, and presenting business cases for strategic projects that enhance business performance, including commercial ventures, product development plans, supply chain and operational improvements, capital projects, and support for inorganic growth (M&A, Joint Ventures, and other partnerships).
  • Foster continuous improvement in the operational, financial, and reporting control environment to ensure adherence to relevant Global and Local Accounting Standards and global policies; ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, tax obligations, and governance standards.
  • Lead efforts in regional cash management and optimization to ensure adequate liquidity for each entity, and support other corporate treasury initiatives, credit management, and inventory controls.
  • Strengthen the regional finance and accounting function and organizational capability through effective hiring, talent development, evaluation, and succession planning.
  • Ensure adherence to Corporate Governance requirements in Thailand and the region and assume corporate governance roles if required.
  • Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as determined from time to time at its sole discretion.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or other related fields
  • CPA or MBA is preferred
  • 15+ years of working experience especially in leadership position with strong people management experience from MNC
  • Strong business acumen with ability to partner and solve complex financial issues
  • Experienced in project management and ability to handle multiple tasking
  • Ability to travel overseas as required
  • Fluent communication in both Thai and English
