We are looking for Quality Manager with experience in end-to-end Quality, but particularly strong in Customer Quality, to join a global electronic and electromechanical engineering and manufacturing company. The successful candidate requires background from suppliers for small electronic components or related mechanical parts, having team management experience and excellent command in English.

Job Description

  • Quality Assurance Leadership - Oversee and implement a robust quality framework, ensuring consistency across the organisation.
  • Strategic Quality Initiatives - Develop and execute quality strategies, setting clear goals and guiding the team toward operational excellence.
  • Customer-Centric Improvements - Enhance customer satisfaction by analysing feedback and internal data, translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Supplier & Process Optimisation - Continuously improve supplier quality performance and establish effective process controls to minimize rework, rejection, and cost of poor quality (COPQ).
  • Compliance & Audits - Define, implement, and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System while coordinating audits with customers and third parties.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with new product development and continuous improvement teams on business expansion and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Regulatory & Continuous Improvement Efforts - Participate in change management, Kaizen events, and ensure compliance with EHS, statutory, and ISO 14001 requirements.



The Successful Applicant

  • Educational Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in engineering, with additional certifications in quality management tools such as SPC, PPAP, MSA, PFMEA, Control Plan, APQP, and 8D methodology.
  • Professional Certifications & Skills - Six Sigma Black/Green Belt, expertise in Lean Manufacturing, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Industry Experience - A minimum of 10 years of experience, including at least five years in a senior quality management role within an ISO 9001-certified mechanical engineering industry.
  • Customer & International Collaboration - Extensive experience in handling customer complaints, with a strong advantage in working with overseas clients.
  • Technical & Analytical Expertise - Solid understanding of FMEA, PPAP, Lean Manufacturing principles, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
