Job Description

  • Manage and oversee procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best pricing and terms.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Analyse market trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand and fulfil their procurement needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and prepare regular reports for management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Purchasing Manager should have:

  • A strong background in end-to-end procurement and supply chain management
  • Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
