About Our Client
Our client is a global manufacturing company, leader in industrial markets for both developed and growing economies. They are looking for a Plant GM for their operations in Thailand based in Bangkok. Lead the plant management team including Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials, Finance, HR and Sourcing, EHS, IT.
Develop and implement manufacturing budget and plan, and facilitate the allocation of necessary resources e.g. capitals, equipment, as well as human resources to deliver the target operational results.
Ensure effectiveness of production and quality control systems, analysing production, quality control, maintenance and other operational reports to ensure high quality yields. Drive performance against defined metrics including, Financial, quality, OTD, inventory turns and productivity.
Promoting an organisational culture of continuous improvement through lean manufacturing tools and principles
Interface closely with the Sales and Distribution team to drive customer satisfaction
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor degree with Engineering background or equivalent technical discipline is required, MBA degree is a plus.
Minimum 15 year's experience in manufacturing operations required, at least 3-5 years working experience in a manufacturing/plant operations leadership role.
Must be able to demonstrate the use of process improvement techniques & tools in a variety of successful manufacturing or production operations related projects.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma. Green or Black Belt certification is preferred.
Good verbal and written communication skills in both Thai and English
Management of P&L and understanding of financial concepts
