Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervise, mentor, and provide performance feedback to OR Technician, ensuring adherence medical facility policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Oversee daily coverage schedules, shift assignments, on-call rotation.
  • Ensure OR Technician maintain a professional appearance, high work ethic, and excellent communication practices.
  • Ensure all company and third-party equipment is properly set up, maintained, disinfected, and staged according to hospital and manufacturer standards.
  • Ensure the team maintains proficiency in equipment functionality, surgical procedures, image routing, and integrated suite operations.
  • Collaborate with OR personnel, surgeons,biomedical engineering, and other hospital partners to ensure seamless clinical operations.
  • Facilitate ongoing training for OR Technician, including company education modules, equipment updates, troubleshooting practices.
  • Partner with internal sales, service, and clinical teams to support new product launches, equipment upgrades, and customer education programs.
  • Coordinate repairs, replacements, preventive maintenance, and inventory management in collaboration with hospital departments.

The Successful Applicant

Successful candidate :

  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing or medical sciences, Associate's Degree, or equivalent professional certifications.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in operating room support, surgical technology, medical device field service, or sterile processing.
  • Experienced in large team leading within surgical environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, surgical procedures, and operating room workflow.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently in high-stress clinical environments.
  • Willingness and ability to support rotating shifts, on-call duties, overnight/weekend coverage, and travel to additional accounts.
  • Excellent computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience.
  • Experience working with endoscopy, integration, and surgical equipment.
