This is a large, globally stable organisation in the industrial/manufacturing sector for packaging.

Job Description

  • Initiate strategy formulation and update the strategic direction to align with market requirements, competition market, and company positioning.
  • Conduct market research collection to analyse and interpret the market data for short to long term market forecasts and report.
  • Managing product portfolio in order to build up sales target and gross margin by working with global marketing and innovations team to understand products availability, features, market fit, key selling point, pricing and competitive advantage.
  • Conducting market research to identify market opportunities, create product brief for design engineering and coordinate with new product development team to identify product conceptualise, design validation, price positioning and execution.
  • Supporting sales team by visiting customers, identifying needs and formulating strategies to meet customer's expectations as well as initiate strategies for sales growth.
  • B2B Marketing Communication and marketing activities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor of marketing, business administration or any business related fields.
  • Experience over 10 years as product manager or product portfolio management and/or marketing management fields.
  • Experience from packaging, FMCG, beauty manufacturing business.
  • Strong strategic and logical thinking with analytic skill and good presentation skill.
  • Deep understanding of business principles and practices.
  • Marketing Communication experience would be a plus.
  • Good English communication skills.
