About Our Client

Our client is a well-established leading player within the Energy industry, with future growth in their new projects, they are looking to expand their legal team.

Job Description

  • Review and draft commercial contracts / agreements, liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing the organization's litigation matters, including overseeing the work of outside counsel and providing strategic guidance
  • Advising on and managing corporate affairs, including board matters, shareholder relations, and corporate governance
  • Overseeing and maintaining the company's legal documentation, policies, and regulatory compliance
  • Conducting legal research and preparing updates on laws and regulations relevant to the organization
  • Engaging with internal teams, serving as a strategic business partner by offering legal support

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Law (overseas graduates will have a competitive advantage)
  • Thai-qualified lawyer with ideally 3-5 years PQE in an in-house role
  • Strong knowledge in commercial contract management (including IP and start-up investment related contracts), corporate compliance, legal research, litigation, debt collection process
  • Fluency in Thai and English is mandatory
  • Independent, high levels of energy and ability to engage with stakeholders across multiple functional areas
  • Flexibility to work on-site five (5) days a week
