The HRBP Manager - Thailand will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management within the Thailand office. This role will work closely with the regional HR team to drive and execute policies, and with the COE team on recruitment, Talent Management, and Learning & Development. The HRBP Manager will also ensure that HR strategies support the company's business objectives and foster a positive workplace culture.

Job Description

  1. Business Partnership:
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on HR-related matters.
    • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
    • Work closely with management and employees to enhance work relationships, morale, productivity, and retention.
  2. Policy Execution:
    • Collaborate with the regional HR team to implement and adapt global and regional HR policies and practices to the local context.
    • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
  3. Talent Acquisition:
    • Partner with the COE recruitment team to manage the recruitment process and develop strategies to attract top talent.
    • Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a positive experience for new hires.
  4. Talent Management:
    • Work with the COE team to design and implement talent management strategies that support the business goals.
    • Facilitate talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
  5. Learning & Development:
    • Collaborate with the COE L&D team to identify training needs and develop programs to address them.
    • Facilitate training sessions and ensure the delivery of effective learning experiences.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
  6. Employee Relations:
    • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
    • Conduct thorough and objective investigations as needed.
    • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management to minimize legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  7. Performance Management:
    • Support the performance appraisal process and provide guidance to managers on addressing performance issues.
    • Develop and implement performance improvement plans.
  8. Diversity and Inclusion:
    • Lead initiatives that promote a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
    • Support recruiting and education initiatives that align with the company's diversity and inclusion strategy.
  9. Data Analysis:
    • Analyze HR data and trends to inform business decisions related to strategy, people, and programs.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of Thai labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proven HR experience, preferably in a regional or global organization.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in managing an HR team in a matrixed organization.
  • Proactive approach and strong self-drive to achieve goals.
  • Ability to adapt to change and manage ambiguity in a high-growth environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and pragmatic approach.
  • Sensitivity to budget management and organizational efficiency.
