Health Economic and Research Outcome Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

1. 
   
   Research Design and Implementation:
   • Design and conduct health economic and outcomes research studies to support product development, market access, and reimbursement strategies.
   • Develop study protocols, data collection instruments, and analysis plans in accordance with regulatory and ethical guidelines.
2. 
   
   Data Analysis and Interpretation:
   • Analyze healthcare data, including clinical trial data, real-world evidence, and economic data, to assess the value and impact of pharmaceutical products.
   • Use statistical and economic modeling techniques to evaluate cost-effectiveness, budget impact, and health outcomes.
3. 
   
   Reporting and Dissemination:
   • Prepare comprehensive reports and manuscripts detailing study findings, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and relevance for different audiences.
   • Present research results to internal stakeholders, healthcare professionals, regulatory authorities, and at scientific conferences.
4. 
   
   Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
   • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including medical affairs, market access, regulatory affairs, and commercial teams, to integrate HEOR insights into strategic decisions.
   • Engage with external stakeholders, such as key opinion leaders, payers, and healthcare providers, to gather insights and disseminate research findings.

   Literature Review and Evidence Synthesis:
   • Conduct systematic literature reviews and meta-analyses to gather and synthesize existing evidence on health outcomes and economic evaluations.
   • Stay current with developments in health economics and outcomes research methodologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
6. 
   
   Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Support:
   • Develop and submit health technology assessment dossiers to support product reimbursement and market access.
   • Respond to queries and requests from HTA bodies, providing additional data and analyses as needed.
7. 
   
   Training and Knowledge Sharing:
   • Provide training and support to internal teams on health economics and outcomes research concepts and methodologies.
   • Share best practices and innovative approaches to enhance the company's HEOR capabilities.
