Job Description

  • Take ownership of the entire logistics operations and ensure the team (warehouse, transportation, distributors & custom brokers) are delivering the agreed KPIs in an efficient manner
  • Maintain up-to-date registration records and provide status to business on regular basis
  • Oversee optimisation activities within supply chain, including but not limited to rate negotiations, vendor performance, costing, on-time delivery, load efficiency, logistics spend
  • Assess gaps in capabilities and performance and guiding the business to meet current and future challenges
  • Analyse the cost-benefit of current operators/service providers; review, select and implement the best and most cost-efficient logistics operational options
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure inventory levels are managed appropriately and delivery to customers occurs in a timely manner
  • Identify and implement policies and practices, including new technology, which will enhance the efficiency of warehousing operations, with particular emphasis on safety environment and quality

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree or above in Business or Industrial Engineering or discipline that focus on Supply Chain Management
  • At least 10 years of work experience
  • Demonstrated experience in Logistics & Warehouse (Multi-temperature) management
  • Good understanding of the key supply chain issues facing retail, fast moving consumer goods and manufacturing sectors
  • Knowledge of cloud-based supply chain ERP systems
  • Personable, versatile and able to build rapport quickly with people in a global environment. Experience in stakeholder/relationship management desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written bilingual (English/Thai) communication
