Our client is a major international company in the consumer goods industry, known for its market-leading brands and strong innovation mindset. With a long-standing presence in Southeast Asia, they are currently looking for a seasoned sales leader to oversee their commercial strategy across modern trade and other strategic channels in Thailand.

Job Description

  • Lead, coach, and develop a national sales team to achieve commercial targets across all modern trade and strategic retail channels
  • Define and execute sales strategies aligned with brand and market objectives
  • Oversee key account management (KAM) and ensure strong collaboration with major modern trade partners (hypermarkets, supermarkets, convenience stores)
  • Drive volume, market share, and in-store excellence through negotiation, promotions, and execution monitoring
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, trade marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure operational alignment and go-to-market efficiency
  • Analyse market data, customer performance, and competitor intelligence to adjust strategies in a dynamic environment
  • Report directly to the regional leadership team and contribute to the long-term commercial roadmap in Thailand

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales / commercial roles, ideally in FMCG, retail, or consumer goods
  • Proven track record in modern trade / key account management, with strong exposure to Thailand's retail landscape
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Able to lead both strategic planning and field execution
  • Fluent in Thai and English
  • Previous experience in managing national teams and working in matrix/international structures is a strong plus
