The Head of Commercial Operations oversees planning, performance management, revenue management, and operational functions. This role acts as the key connector, ensuring that the Commercial team is seamlessly integrated with other departments such as finance, supply, logistics, and procurement.

Performance Management:

  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly performance reviews to drive sales performance.
  • Ensure visibility and tracking in commercial areas such as volume, net revenue, contract performance, discount, and profit to meet targets.
  • Lead analysis and presentations, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders and senior management.



Sales Planning:

  • Lead the annual and routine budgeting process for commercial plans (1YP, 3YP, LE), ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
  • Manage sales planning timelines and communications with stakeholders including IT, marketing, supply, and finance.
  • Develop and implement frameworks for analyzing results and creating action plans to close performance gaps.
  • Support the regional team by identifying and sharing best practices, and establishing new KPIs.
  • Coordinate with global and local supply chains to ensure timely receipt of goods and optimize supply chain strategies.
  • Own and manage the key PMO agenda for the business.



Business Environment:

  • Analyze results and develop action plans with a focus on volume, net revenue, gross income/profit, discount, contract performance, and sales and marketing.
  • Key contacts include BU HQ (Finance, Sales, Logistics, Supply, Procurement, Legal, Tech & Analytics) and regional teams



The Successful Applicant



Qualification

  • Degree in mathematics, business, statistics, engineering, or economics; MBA preferred but not
  • 10 years of experience in commercial roles.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, coach and manage others, and handle ambiguity effectively.
  • Ability to balance detailed focus with long-term perspective and strategic direction.
  • Deep understanding of the industry and competitive landscape.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Capability to simplify complex concepts for clear oral and written communication..
  • Proven leadership skills and experience working across diverse cultures.
