This role is ideal for a strategic leader with a strong background in both sales and marketing within the FMCG sector, particularly in the Food and Beverage industry.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies aligned with company goals to drive growth and profitability in both domestic and international markets.
  • Oversee all sales and marketing activities, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and marketing objectives. Leverage deep industry knowledge to enhance market positioning and brand awareness.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with distributors, ensuring effective and efficient distribution channels to maximize product availability and market penetration.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, including emerging markets, and develop entry strategies to expand the company's footprint internationally.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing commercial team. Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration within the team.
  • Work closely with other departments, including supply chain, finance, and product development, to ensure alignment and support for commercial initiatives.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to understand trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Utilize insights to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the commercial function (sales and marketing) within the FMCG sector, with a strong preference for experience in the Food and Beverage industry.
  • Proven track record of managing distributor relationships and driving market expansion.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in leading and developing diverse teams.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
