Job Description

Strategic Insight Leadership



  • Lead the development and execution of the end-to-end insights strategy across all categories and business units.


  • Deliver actionable insights that influence strategic choices across marketing, commercial, innovation, and customer teams.


  • Shape long-term business direction by identifying emerging consumer, shopper, and market trends.



Business Partnership & Influence



  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Marketing, Commercial, and cross-functional leaders by delivering data-driven foresight.


  • Champion the role of CMI across the organization, fostering a culture of consumer-centricity and evidence-based decisions.


  • Engage with global and regional stakeholders to represent the voice of the Thai consumer in portfolio and brand discussions.



Consumer & Market Understanding



  • Design and oversee qualitative and quantitative research to decode consumer behaviors, needs, and aspirations.


  • Lead brand equity, communication effectiveness, and innovation validation programs.


  • Integrate multiple data sources including social listening, digital analytics, retail data, and behavioral science into cohesive insight narratives.



Team Leadership & Capability Building



  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing CMI team.


  • Build advanced capabilities in foresight, analytics, agile research methodologies, and digital insight platforms.


  • Foster continuous learning and strategic thinking across the insight function.

The Successful Applicant

Experience



  • 12-18 years of experience in consumer insights, marketing strategy, or brand consulting within top-tier FMCG or consumer-focused organizations.


  • Demonstrated track record in shaping business strategy through insight leadership.


  • Experience working in a matrixed global environment is highly desirable.



Competencies



  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to connect the dots and translate insight into action.


  • Expertise in a wide range of research methodologies, including U&A, segmentation, concept testing, shopper research, and digital tools.


  • Excellent storytelling, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
