Financial Controller for a European Luxury Hotel in Koh Samui

About Our Client
Our client is well-know five stars hotel in Koh Samui, part of an international European group.
The Finance controller will lead the Finance team at the resort towards the achievement of the corporate objectives in a fast growing, challenging environment.
Sets up the accounting and financial policy follow the hotel's regulations from General Manager and concerns with the legal department regulation.
Directs the timely development of Hotel Annual Profit Plan, Budget, Forecast and Cash Flow and presents final version for approval of the higher level of authority.
Analyzes monthly financial statements and other management reports to project cash flow and progress toward business objectives.
Directs cash management activities to ensure adequate cash availability for daily operations and capital needs improves cash flow by effectively managing payable, receivable and inventories and by enforcing cash controls.
Oversees credit and collection function to diminish receivable balances and improves turnover and reduces the ratio of bad debts
Supports and assists hotel operation the business development and related team with new business proposals and tenders as required.
Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements coordinates annual internal and external audits to facilitate timely completion and contains costs.
The Successful Applicant
- Master in Finance
- From 4 to 10 years experience in finance in Hospitality
- Fluent in English
- Personality : open, dynamic, driven
