Job Description

  • Oversee and manage the accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial and accounting regulations relevant to the insurance industry.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Supervise the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
  • Coordinate audits and implement recommendations to improve internal controls.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decisions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Accounting Manager should have:

  • A strong educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA or equivalent are preferred.
  • Proven experience in the insurance industry or a similar sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools relevant to accounting and reporting.
