Job Description

  • Develop and manage accurate demand forecasts to meet customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Analyze historical data, market trends, and sales input to refine forecasting models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, production, and procurement to align forecasts with company strategies.
  • Create and implement effective inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Monitor and track demand forecasting accuracy, making adjustments to improve performance.
  • Lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring alignment between demand forecasts and supply capabilities.
  • Utilize demand planning tools and ERP systems to track and analyze data, improving forecast efficiency.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and recommendations.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or a similar role within the manufacturing, FMCG, or retail industry.
  • Proven ability to improve forecast accuracy and effectively manage inventory levels.
  • Strong knowledge of demand planning software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
  • Expertise in statistical analysis, demand forecasting techniques, and S&OP processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and optimize forecasting accuracy.
