Job Description

  • Act as a subject matter expert in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
  • Lead database modeling, migration, performance testing, and daily operations
  • Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, and Alicloud
  • Provide expertise on distributed database technologies, including compatibility assessments, deployment, and migration
  • Conduct customer engagements to understand business pain points and propose technical solutions
  • Run Proof of Concept (PoC) projects to validate the company's database capabilities
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams
  • Ensure smooth post-sale implementations and technical support

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales or post-sales technical role
  • Experience as a Solution Architect, Database Administrator, or Architect
  • Proficiency in MySQL, Oracle, or other relational databases
  • Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Alicloud)
  • Fluent in English (Mandarin is a plus)
  • Experience with application development in Java, Python, NodeJS, .NET is a bonus
  • Willingness to travel across ASEAN and beyond
