Job Description

  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to support business needs.
  • Design and implement data integration solutions and workflows, including preparing data for AI solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Optimise data delivery and improve overall data architecture.
  • Support AI and analytics POCs with data pipelines and model inputs.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and security across all systems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Document processes and maintain up-to-date technical documentation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Data Engineer should have:

  • Proficiency in designing and developing data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Strong understanding of database systems and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with data modelling and data integration techniques.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, SQL, or similar.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate technical concepts effectively.
