This role acts as the key accounting partner for a country operation, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and audit readiness. You will work closely with regional finance teams to maintain high‑quality financial records while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Description

  • Manage country‑level accounting activities in compliance with local GAAP and group reporting requirements
  • Perform month‑end and year‑end closing activities for IFRS group reporting
  • Prepare statutory financial statements in line with local accounting standards
  • Act as the main point of contact for external auditors and manage audit deliverables
  • Coordinate internal and external audit activities and follow up on findings
  • Provide accounting guidance and support to business units and internal stakeholders
  • Partner closely with regional or hub accounting teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of records
  • Execute established internal controls and support control testing and assessments
  • Support the implementation of group accounting policies at country level
  • Prepare and review statutory, regulatory, and management reports
  • Contribute to automation, digitalization, and process optimization initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
  • Support regional accounting projects and cross‑country initiatives when required

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 5-6 years of experience in audit and/or multinational corporate accounting
  • Professional accounting qualification (CPA is required)
  • Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and statutory reporting
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a strong advantage
  • Fluent communication in both English and Thai
