Job Description

  • Oversee cost accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Develop and maintain cost standards and budgets for the organisation.
  • Analyse cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with financial policies.
  • Prepare financial reports and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation of cost-effective processes and systems.
  • Monitor inventory valuation and ensure accurate stock reporting.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve overall financial performance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Cost Accounting Manager should have:

  • A degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience within the FMCG industry or a similar sector.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
