Job Description

  • Continuously analyze and track direct materials and utilities by assessing cost drivers, input costs, indices, and market trends to enable informed decisions.
  • Design and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs and reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) across assigned categories.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for cost savings, value engineering, and procurement process improvements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and international partners to enhance category outcomes.
  • Lead negotiations and manage contracts to ensure favorable terms, compliance, and value realization.
  • Proactively assess supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure operational continuity.
  • Monitor regulatory and market changes, adjusting strategies to maintain compliance and competitiveness.
  • Support procurement goals through data-driven insights, strategic initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Category Manager should have:

  • Proven experiences in category management, procurement management (direct & indirect)
  • Proficiency in contract negotiation and supplier management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Excellent English communication skill
