This role focuses on speciality chemical sales across coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers, electrification/thermal management, and personal and home care with full accountability for achieving sales volume and profit targets. It drives business growth through new customer development, channel expansion, strong customer relationships, technical support, cross‑functional coordination and effective account and payment management.

Job Description

  • Own and achieve assigned sales volume and profit targets with full accountability.
  • Drive business growth by identifying, developing, and converting new customers and market opportunities.
  • Manage and expand sales channels to maximise market coverage while minimising cost and channel conflict.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships, understand customer needs, and monitor market trends.
  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships with customers through trust, professionalism, and consistent engagement.
  • Address customer inquiries, technical questions, and complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Provide product knowledge, technical support, and training to customers as required.
  • Monitor customer accounts and follow up on payment collection to ensure timely settlement.
  • Coordinate closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to deliver seamless customer service.
  • Support additional tasks and initiatives as needed to ensure overall team success.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience over 5-7 years in Sales for Chemicals Business.
  • Background in coating, adhesive, sealants, elastomer, electrification and/or thermal management.
  • Ability to established customer relationships and maintain the existing account.
  • Holds a science-related background; an MBA is an added advantage.
  • Has strong experience working from distributor is preferable.
  • Hunter mindset, good team player, able to work under pressure and good communication.
  • English communication skill is must.
