The company was founded in Japan in 2006 and is the leading global student recruitment agency. The company provides free independent advice and support to international students applying to study in the UK and has over 80 offices in more than 40 countries across the world.

Job Description

  • Taking full responsibility for managing the entire recruitment process throughout the APAC region, directly sourcing exceptional candidates for various positions while adhering to the Company's recruitment Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Collaborating with hiring managers to formulate effective recruitment strategies tailored to diverse roles, including entry-level, technical, and specialized positions, within competitive job markets.
  • Collaborating closely with the Head of International Partners to facilitate the recruitment endeavors of both franchises.
  • Establishing a curated list of preferred external vendors across the region for future collaboration.
  • Providing insights to the Total Rewards team regarding the competitiveness of compensation packages across the region, informed by candidate feedback and market insights.
  • Working in conjunction with the global recruiting team to create a cohesive employer brand, cultivating social media channels that accurately portray the Company's culture within the APAC region.
  • Undertaking any additional responsibilities appropriate for the role's scope.

The Successful Applicant

About the candidate:

  • Prior experience of recruiting across the APAC region for a multi-national company
  • Ability to work independently and to balance competing demands from various stakeholders
  • Knowledge of various sourcing techniques and competency based interviewing
  • Understanding of employer branding and how to use social media to develop a positive and engaging employer brand as part of a candidate attraction strategy
  • Pragmatic and flexible in approach, understanding best practices and their successful implementation to meet business needs


  • Demonstrable ability to develop and execute strategic and operational Talent Acquisition programmes and initiatives
  • Experience of using HRIS platforms (Darwinbox would be advantageous) to create data driven insights, reporting against key metrics
  • Excellent communication, and collaboration skills to work across complex geographic differences and organisational structures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address people-related challenges and opportunities
